Youth Director - Alyssa Byrd

My Name is Alyssa Byrd and I am the Youth Director here at Lovington First Methodist. I have been married to my husband Matt for 11 years and we have two sons, Landon who is eight and Lyle who is five. Professionally, I am the Radiology manager at Nor Lea District whom I have been employed with for 13 years now. I have been a radiologic tech since 2010 and a sonographer since 2012. I then went on to receive a Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences in 2013 and a Master's degree in Radiologic Sciences in 2022 both from Midwestern State University.


            I have been volunteering with the Lovington First Youth since 2019. After a lot of thought and prayer, I took over as Youth Director in 2023. Working with the Youth brings me such joy and excitement. the Youth are the future of our church and i am excited to be a part of helping build the future of Lovington First Methodist.
