Youth

Youth are such an important part of the church as the Body of Christ; therefore, we need to take time to invest in the youth of our community. Youth Group is such a great place for teens to come fellowship and learn with other young believers. We make sure it is a safe place where teens can open up and talk honestly with one another about their struggles and triumphs. We believe that by being part of such a group teens will learn accountability and leadership skills that will help them in other areas of life. It is also a place where teens can come and have fun. We have wonderful leaders and volunteers who have prepared to help mentor and guide the teens, and who will help them grasp the teachings of the Bible. Youth Group helps to build and reinforce a foundation of faith that teens will need as they grow in their relationship with Christ. If you would like more information about these wonderful ministries, please contact Alyssa Byrd at 575-390-8452 or aabromley@hotmail.com, or the church office at 575-396-3687.

4th-6th Grade:

Faith Warriors

Mondays

3:30-5:00 pm

The 4th-6th grade Faith Warriors meet on Monday afternoons from 3:30pm-5:00pm (except for Holidays and other designated Mondays the kids are out for school). This group is devoted to learning about the Bible and growing as young followers of Christ through powerful and fun lessons. We have snacks, games, and a lesson. Though our main meeting is at the church building, adult volunteers meet students in front of 6th Grade Academy (at the benches) after school and walk with them back to the church building. You are welcome to bring your student directly to the church building; however, we will not be back at the church until right at 3:30.

7th-12th grade:

a2j

mondays

6:00-7:30 pm

"Addicted to Jesus" or, "A2J" and it stands for youth who want to learn how to grow and dedicate their lives to living for Jesus. We talk about subjects that are relevant to youth. We study the Bible and learn how it relates to us. We meet on Monday evenings from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the fellowship hall or upstairs in the Youth room. It is a great time of fun and fellowship with a faithful lesson, yummy food, and some fun games.

We go on mission trips, some local, some throughout the United States. We go to church camp at different times throughout the year.
